About Pond View Puppies
Our Beginning:
Pond View Puppies has been breeding Bichon Frise and Bichon Mixes since 2000. Our love for Bichons began with our first Bichon family pet, who we called "Pansy". As our passion for Bichons grew, Snuggles and Pearl joined the family!
Program Development
Over the years our vision for quality puppies has expanded to include Cavaliers and Mini Poodles. These loving breeds have become part of our lives and we are glad to introduce you to them! One of our specialties is the cava-poos and the Cava-chon-poos! Our Cava-chon-poos are a special designer breed of Bichon, Cavalier, and Mini Poodle.
Our Facilities
Our pups live in a state of the art kennel, built in 2020. Our facilities are designed to provide our dogs & puppies with a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment. We have spacious indoor kennels that are heated and air-conditioned, as well as large outdoor play areas where our doggies can run and play.
Quality Checks
Our kennel is inspected impromptu twice a year by the state in accordance with Pennsylvania State Dog Laws and also twice a year by the USDA. Our Goal:
At Pond View Puppies, our goal is healthy dogs and puppies, quality breeding, quality care, and happy customers. We enjoy giving our dogs excellent care and also enjoy meeting the families who adopt our puppies! Caring for our dogs is a family project here. Everyone helps with dog and puppy care and keeping the kennel extremely clean.
Our Philosophy:
We put priority on socialization! Every puppy is socialized by playing with our children, they play with them like the puppies are their doll babies! Before each puppy leaves our house, it is examined by our licensed veterinarian. We also trim the puppy's nails, clean their ears, give the puppies a bath, and make sure they are well socialized for their new home.
Going Home Packet:
We send our puppies home with a new puppy kit to help you get a good start on adjusting to life with a new puppy! Your kit will include a small bag of Nutri-source Puppy food, a blanket that smells like mom and siblings, a vet signed Health Certificate, proof that their first vaccines and dewormers have been given, and a 2 Year Genetic Health Guarantee!
Our Location
We are located near Paxinos, in the rolling hills of Rural, Central Pennsylvania. In addition to our dogs, we also spend many hours each day feeding and caring for our dairy cows, horses, and ponies. Visits to the farm to meet the puppies are by appointment only.
